During a meeting at Nigeria High Commission at Islamabad, with Ambassador of Nigeria His Excellency Mr. Dauda Danladi and PECO Director Mr. Ibrahim B. Maqsood it was recommended to Governor Kano, Pakistan High Commission at Abuja, Nigeria and other stakeholders for hosting the event that Pakistan’s First Single Country Trade Fair at Kano (FSCTFK) should be deferred till September 2013. The recommendation has already been communicated and it is anticipated that the decision has been taken in best interest of businessmen of both Pakistan and Nigeria. It is worth mentioning that the request in this regard had also been made by different chambers of Commerce across the country to the Ambassador of Nigeria. The major reason quoted included the fact that proposed dates are coinciding with the General election dates of Pakistan as well as the short NOTICE time for exhibitors to get ready for participation in the event.
