
Pakistan Export Company- PECO by performing social responsibility will extend its full cooperation for the noble cause of welfare of common people initiated by Permanent Secretory Foreign Affairs, Nigeria, Amb. (Dr.) Martin at KOKO area with objective of betterment in lives of common people of Nigeria in general & KOKO area in particular. It was stated after a meeting by Director PECO Mr. Ibrahim Bin Maqsood who called upon him yesterday at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nigeria. It was informed to PECO that Nigeria government allows Pakistan High Commission, Abuja to open its commercial office at Lagos, to facilitate Nigeria Business community. We congratulate Pakistan High Commission Nigeria for the continue efforts to improve business possibilities between Pakistan & Nigeria that ultimately bring positive results for trade & its development in both countries. We anticipated that Nigeria High Commission also opens its commercial office at Karachi, Pakistan as reciprocation to the action taken by Pakistan High commission, Nigeria to facilitate Pakistan investors. During meeting it was also agreed to join hands for fast-track improvement of bilateral trade between two GREENS with basic emphasis to increase possibilities of reducing basic poverty. It was also informed to Amb. (Dr.) Martin that the Trade Delegation from Pakistan investors will commence from August, 25, 2013 to Nigeria will be coordinated by PECO. The Permanent Secretary appreciated the efforts made by PECO in this regard. The meeting was concluded on note of thanks to both sides to continue bilateral cooperation.
