The Pakistan Export Company – PECO appreciated Nigeria High Commission, Pakistan & Pakistan High Commission, Nigeria for joint efforts to re-establish business ties between Pakistan & Nigeria. We at PECO specially acknowledged His Excellency, Amb. Mr. Dauda Danladi, the High Commissioner of Nigeria at Pakistan for untiring efforts to promote bilateral trade between Pakistan & Nigeria.. In this regard he visited Karachi in last week of June, 2013 for 5 days. The Karachi is one of the metropolitan city of Pakistan and undoubtedly the largest Business hub of Pakistan. We equally appreciated support measures adopted by Pakistan High Commission, Nigeria in coordination of Pakistan Export Company PECO. The strong facilitation to the Nigeria High Commissioner & his 5 member delegation was provided by Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) including security & protocol. The Pakistan Export Company PECO was instrumental in making trip agenda, movements, meetings and media coverage. The Pakistan Export Company, (PECO) manage & arrange visit different towns of Sindh to boost basic confidence & trust about soft image of Pakistan. Hence it is anticipated that the bilateral trade between two GREENS move forward despite certain odds. The major efforts by Pakistan Export Company PECO to encourage Pakistani investors to invest in Nigeria and establish business connections with counterparts in Nigeria are highly appreciated by Nigeria High Commissioner His Excellency, Amb. Mr. Dauda Danladi during this visit at Karachi. The Amb. Dauda Danladi emphasized Pakistani investors at different forums to invest in Nigeria. During his visit to leading business entities at Karachi he personally delivered the invitations for participation in Trade Delegation to enhance possibilities of fast track improvement of mutual trade. The efforts made by NHC & PHC in coordination of PECO may induce initiative for participation of leading industrialists in the delegation for Nigeria. The points discussed by Amb. Danladi & PECO with leading industrialists / investors were very impressive. The efforts were commendable & it is anticipated that it shall pave way to improve bilateral trade. The best possible coordination & cooperation were offered by PECO to Nigeria High Commissioner & his 5 member team & reciprocation was simply incredible with us. It was admired that we at Pakistan Export Company – PECO did our best efforts and apply our resources for same common objective for enhancement of trade & business between Pakistan and Nigeria.

During your trip to Karachi we were successful in getting MEETING appointment for His Excellency Amb. Danladi with Honorable Governor of Sindh Dr. Ishrat Ul Ibad Khan at Governor House. We also tried to arrange hurriedly called PRESS CONFERENCE at Marriot hotel, Karachi. We also manage Nigeria High Commissioner & his team visit to leading pharmaceutical companies like NabiQasim & Indus Pharma & one of the largest Textile Mill of Pakistan The GULAHMED in Karachi, beside high profile meeting with Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (PPMA) & Korangi Association of Trade & Industry (KATI) at Karachi. We also made Amb. Danladi visit possible to Hyderabad HERO TRACTORS and The leading RICE MILLERS at Gharo. We were also instrumental in making His excellency Amb. Danladi visit to CENTRAL PRISON, KARACHI and had arranged METTING with Nigerian nationals who are under imprisonment and we also made possible his visit to Head office of National Aliens Registration Authority (NARA)  in extended cooperation from MOFA . The detailed meeting was held with its CE for resolution to the problems faced by Nigerians in Pakistan. To make best out-put from visit of Amb. Danladi to Karachi we also arrange personal interview with DAWN NEWS beside interview at Pakistan Television (PTV) & meeting at Karachi Chambers of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) & Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI).We at PECO also had an LIVE  interview at PTV NEWS with same agenda of enhancement in mutual trade. This high profile state media coverage will be helping hand in our promotional campaign and industrialists awareness program about “Nigeria potential for Pakistani investors”.  We wholeheartedly admired the consent acknowledgement to improve bilateral relation through trade & commerce by High Commissioner of Pakistan to Nigeria, His Excellency Lt. The PECO also want to remark DG Africa Mr. Khalid Gudaro for his extra ordinary support in management of this trip even on short notice and played his extended role in development of business ties between Nigeria & the Pakistan. We also acknowledge the extended cooperation of MOFA Karachi Camp office in leadership of Acting DCP Mr. Dildar Abro & his team at Karachi for protocol & security arrangements. The MOFA also made highly impressive protocol & effective coordination that ensure positive results from this visit.

We also want to pay thanks to POLICE for our comfortable excess into central prison & on road protocol. We also appreciate security agencies role for smooth, peaceful movements in and outside city. We also put our hats down to all trade supporting departments, associations & business functionaries that helps an effective & successful visit of Amb. Danladi at Karachi, Hyderabad & Gharo.
